關於《齊頌我主：永生基督》

「基督復活，賜人新生」從來不單是個人的，更是集體的。不獨是「因為耶穌，我得救了」，更是「因為耶穌，他們也得救了」、是「因為耶穌，我們得以重修舊好」、是「因為耶穌，我們要力臻完善」、是「因為耶穌，萬膝當拜、萬口當稱」。

在Christ Is Alive! Let Christians Sing一曲中，當代英倫聖詩作家Brian A. Wren（b. 1936）以五節歌詞概括了上述的整全復活神學。戰亂頻仍、歧異處處的成長背景或多或少塑造了詞人的救贖觀；於Wren而言，十架泯恩仇（弗二16）並不限於保羅時代的猶太與外邦信徒之間，更是千秋萬代、致力消弭一切膚色、種族、性別、年齡之間的隔閡。

Wren將這闕詞寄予TRURO一調。此調首錄於十八世紀Thomas Williams彙整的詩集Psalmodia Evangelica第二冊之中，作者資料已佚，但顯然深受韓德爾影響。輝煌磊落的大調、精神抖擻的長短句，殊堪與基督復活作王的喜慶氛圍匹配。
